SPECIAL EVENTS: The Poker House has contact us with two openings for fund raising opportunities. We are looking for member/volunteers for this event. We are required to have at least 4 members present at the events at all times. Each opportunity consists of four day events. The events are scheduled for May 3rd through May 6th and May 31st through June 3rd. We are to be present from 5pm until 2am each evening. Any funds generated at these events will be allocated to ARCARS for operating expenses and equipment purchases. Members are encouraged to come for a while even if they are unable to stay for complete sessions. We will be conducting some crucial functions at the events.
The Feast of the St Claire event to be held Memorial Day weekend. We will be helping out from 11pm to 6am during the event. We now have enough volunteers for this event, but encourage other members to stop by and visit while it is in progress.
We will be completing a schedule of planned events on docs.arcars.org. We are making plans for the Farm Museum tractor show in Aug. There are also some Museum Ships weekend events that will be disclosed in future meetings. We will be participating in Field Day at the end of June, as well as helping with the 4H fair.
