Binary Crickets

I was laying in my bed last night

just listening to the Crickets...

A sound I heard like Amtor

was commin from the thickets

Do Crickets speak in Binary ?

It is really hard to Know...

And if they can, What will they do

when it starts to snow?

Do they pass their signal on

to Crickets that are Listening?

Or are they howling at the Moon

when ever it is glistening?

I'm hoping that there are no errors

from the tiny stations...

As crickets send and resend

across their little nations.

I guess we'll never know what's

sent from every little node

Until a day that just might come

we crack their tiny code.
